Houston hip hop as of late has seemed like we’re seeing more and more up and comers enter the landscape. With all of these newer rappers on the come up, one of those whose been making all sorts of moves is Houston’s FlygerWoods. One of the strongest mic spitters I’ve seen in awhile, his hard style when he approaches a room is something everyone needs to experience. On his new single with Vonte Heights, “See Us,” found exclusively here, he showcases a lyrical style that hits as hard as the beats within the track.

Opening with chatter before the beats, this is definitely a strong duo effort. Rather than a feature where a rapper pops on and off, the way these dual rhymes drop is mesmerizing to say the least. The beat hits like you want, while various tracks pace things out in a way that feel closer to a Springtime banger. There are moments where the rhymes come in with a faint beat that show off how strong these two are on the mic, and leave it all out on the table to live on their own.

The track, produced by Scott Fallz shows how strong this new crop of rappers in the Bayou City truly are, while offering up a sound that takes our city’s hip hop to a whole new level. The song drops tomorrow on all platforms, and you can catch FlygerWoods in New York in early July. Keep an eye out for both of these guys, as with tracks like this, they should be poppin’ off much sooner than later.
