Before I get into this show I just have to point out a real basic thing in poster design. Maybe you noticed it too on the poster there on the right. That’s right, no date!!! Really guys? Ahem. Well, that’s cool because this show looks to have a pretty awesome line-up regardless. The tongue-in-cheek rappers Turquoise Jeep; the just out with a new album B L A C K I E, LIMB, and Free Radicals, rising stars Poor Pilate; and more. It’s gonna be a pretty awesome way to celebrate the heat and humidity that is this Houston summer.

Radio Moscow, Dirty Streets @ Fitzgerald’s – Last time these guys were to come into town they canceled because the guitarist was being kind of a dick to his band mates and well it kind of came back and bit him in the ass in the form of a guitar being lobbed back at him. Hopefully the dude can work better with the new line up.

Tiziano Dominico, Bonneville Night Life, Blackie Dammett @ Rudyard’s – Local singer songwriter armed with a new crack band plus the funky Bonneville Night Life and this Blackie Dammett that everyone keeps telling me about.

New Music Improvisations, featuring Bobby Levy, Andrew Seifert & Robert Pearson @ Avant Garden (7-9PM; free!) – The series features three instrumentalists this time round on guitar, double bass, and keyboards.

Sports Rapp After Dark starring Doughbeezy featuring DJ Babychino, Roosh Williams, Lower Life Form, 220Music, Harkore, Dirty&Nasty, and LEE-COC @ House of Blues – 790AM’s self described “trillest” of sports shows kicks off the Houston Sneaker Summit with the South East Beast of Houston Rappers.

Twitchy, Ewok the Kid, Infidelix @ Super Happy Fun Land – Well I guess Dallas rapper, Ewok! The Kid could have done worse for a moniker; he could always have chosen Jar Jar! The Kid.
