After several days of deliberations by committees which were formed by committee’s, we have painstakingly found a winner for our April Fool’s Prank Contest. This brave soul designed, printed, and distributed 350 bogus parking tickets all over Houston. He says “The idea was to take the negative energy associated with getting a parking ticket, and spin it into something positive, like receiving an unexpected compliment. I had three different versions of the parking tickets, with different ‘vilations’ (a word I made up for this prank), and with a silly compliment on each. I biked thru downtown, midtown, around HCC, and Montrose area, placing the tickets on vehicles. My gf helped a bit too! I was also able to capture one response… As I was taking off from a hit location, a bro walking out from getting breakfast said aloud “WTF is this shit?!?”, as he grabbed the ticket from his windshield. I stopped and told him it was an April Fools joke, and he started lol’ing, so I asked if I get take pics of him… So I got a few pics of this nice guy looking all pissed, ticket in hand. Also, I placed an email address in small font on the tickets, and so far I got one email response from a victim, that said > “you got me buddy. I thought I was safe for today. lol. Thanks for the laugh. Have a great day and hopefully someone will getcha.” Between that, and the guy that let me take his reaction pictures, it totally made all the effort put into this prank worth it, because I know that there are about 350 others all over Houston that had similar reactions yesterday. “

Wow. A clutchmaster indeed. So, our friend @dontbeeadick per his twitter handle, will be awarded an honorarium of $100 actual real US dollars. Kudos to him and all the pranksters that gave it a shot.
