United Sounds of Africa (USA) is a music project and compilation of the most elite African vocalists, artists, and composers that have the opportunity to globally introduce their diverse African cultures and talent in their first ever North American tour this August.
USA works in an effort of combining these distinct African cultures on all music formats/platforms around the world, while the music emphasizes unity and associations amongst Africa and the USA. The USA works with very experienced and fresh partners to produce music and cultural connections with their individual brands in a global music perspective.
This tour is orchestrated by worldwide media and entertainment leader, Interglobe Entertainment Group (IEG), and Live Nation, the world’s leading live entertainment and eCommerce company. Featured African artists include headliner 2face Idibia, winner of BET’s “Best African Artist” award and named by CNN as one of “Africa’s 10 Biggest Stars. Other artists include African Hip-Hop talent and poet, MI; multi-genre experimenter, Jesse Jagz, who has been described as Nigeria’s Kanye West; master of hooks, Brymo; disciplined vocalist, Timi Dakolo; and African music master, J Martins.
With Houston being their first stop, United Sounds of Africa will also be making stops in Atlanta, NYC, LA, Toronto, Chicago, and Washington, DC. They will come to Houston Wednesday, August 1 at the House of Blues, 1204 Caroline Street. Tickets for the show are available now at Live Nation online.
