TAME IMPALA, Live at Fitzgerald’s, Feb. 25!
“Perth, Australia band Tame Impala bursted onto the scene with their 2010 album Innerspeaker. After gaining such honors as being named Pitchfork’s Best New Music and winning the top honor at the J Awards for Album of the Year, the band played a string of headlining shows in the United States, selling out some dates along the way. Before the release of their debut album, the band was already almost complete with their follow up. In October 2012, they released Lonerism to critical acclaim and positive reviews, again gaining the tag of Best New Music from Pitchork. Tame Impala has toured with acts such as MGMT, The Black Keys, and Yeasayer and their songs have been featured on HBO’s Entourage and the film The Kids Are Alright.”
