OK folks this is my final week of abbreviated weekly previews as I got back into town earlier this week with a nasty ass cold and a Poor Pilate interview for July’s issue that I had to finish.  Lucky for me this week we have a whole bunch of music releases worth noting.  You’ve got the scrappy Garage Rock royalty of Weird Party with their new single, the lush indie rock of the Wheel Workers on a new album, the self-immolating hardcore of Guilt Party dropping one last 7″, and riding coattails of this is Jody Seabody and the Whirls who I guess are alright.  Point is there is a lot of new music bursting out there in Houston, now go out and get yourself some!
