Prideapalooza 2011
@ Avant Garden/Mango’s

with B L A C K I E, Wicked Poseur, Alex English, Mike Rhythm, Tax the Wolf, GRRRL Parts, Senior Jukebox, Damon Allen, Electric Attitude, Panchitron, //TENSE// (DJ set), Speculator, Papaya, Achachay, Boyfriend, Ceeplus Bad Knives, DJ Hyro, Young Girls, Best Legs, Black Transmission, Tyagaraja, Mr. Castillo, La Catrin, Bending Villa, iLL LiaD, Vivian Pikkles & the Sweethearts Über Alles, Fredster, Shawn Rindfuss, Cuba Gooding Jr., Abstract Cannon, Hollywood Floss, ADD, Hit it or Quit it, & dontkidurself - Man this city is so gay.  Mayor - Lesbian.  Your dog - Bi. Straight People - Gay.  That lady you were making out with at the bar last night - yeah, ummm about that….  The thing is, such a large part of our city’s identity is GLBT, that without it, it just wouldn’t be Houston and our city would be a lot less cool.   So Houston likes to celebrate its awesome Man on Man Love, Woman on Woman Love, and all the stuff in between with a cool ass parade. To kick it up a notch, Mango’s and Avant Garden are tossing out a huge selection of local music to join in the fun.  By the way, just have to commend the artist on the poster; I mean, Unicorns are way cool but unicorns vomiting rainbows?  That’s even better!

OK now for the rest of your week

Thursday, June 23
