“This city of Houston, this State of Texas, this country of the United States was not built by those who waited and rested and wished to look behind them. This country was conquered by those who moved forward-and so will space.” - J.F.K.

TEDxHouston has brought together Houstonians with ideas and projects that are impacting our community and will continue to do so in the future. This full day conference will bring you a magician, farmers, a gardener & accountant, independent artist, former KLOL disc jockey, performing artist & diversity speaker, non-profit founder, Director of the Medical Futures lab and a visual artist, filmmaker, photographer and comedian all rolled into one. So if you missed the opportunity to attend in person, there will be a live simulcast at the High School for the Performing and Visual Arts or at Rice University School of Hmanities where you will have the opportunity to socialize with TED lovers, like yourself.
