No relation between ‘Hot Carl’ and Saturday’s ‘Art Crawl’

Don’t confuse the Art Crawl with dropping bombs on faces.

Despite the phonetic relationship between ‘Hot Carl’ and ‘Art Crawl’, there is no clear connection between the 2. Rather, Hot Carl is described as “ the act of putting seran-wrap on ones face and proceeding to take a hot steamy shit on the seran-wrap, thus letting them feel the warmth of the poo on their face .” In contrast,  the Art Crawl is a a set of open studio art openings situated at a cluster of galleries and warehouses in the east part of Downtown.  As stated on their website, ” Since 1992, the tradition of the artists “open studios” takes place on the Saturday before Thanksgiving. Visitors have the opportunity to ‘pARTicipate’ in the live/work/show spaces of these neighborhood ‘urban pioneers’ .” The laymen can easily see the clear delineation between a shitting on someone’s face and a wonderful Saturday full of great art, wine , cheese, and friends. If you can’t tell the difference I suggest you peep their website or, even better, make it out this Saturday. Tip: start off early at Last Concert Cafe, which is dead center in all the fun,  and stuff your face full of enchiladas and margaritas.

You will not need to put any of this on your face to attend the Art Crawl Saturday.
